Making an Impact
in Our Communities
ISHA advocates on behalf of our member associations to advance policies that strengthen the hospitality industry — from Capitol Hill to combating human trafficking at the local level.
ISHA joined hotel association leaders in Washington, D.C. to meet with Congressional representatives, raise awareness about the policies impacting our industry, and voice our collective feedback directly to lawmakers.

Businesses Ending Slavery and Trafficking (BEST) provides human trafficking awareness training specifically designed for the hospitality industry. The program equips hotel staff to recognize and respond to trafficking situations.
Prevent, Address, and Combat Trafficking (PACT) offers comprehensive online training to help hospitality professionals identify and report human trafficking, protecting both guests and communities.
AB 260 requires hotels and other lodging establishments to provide human trafficking awareness training to employees who are likely to interact with victims. ISHA supports members in understanding and complying with this and similar state-level legislation across the country.
